Community Outreach and Education


YouthSpeak, DOVE’s teen dating violence prevention program, educates teenagers and young adults on the complex issues of healthy and unhealthy and abusive relationships while supporting and empowering youth to become leaders and agents for change in their communities. YouthSpeak has two goals:

  1. Provide direct services to children and youth who are primary and secondary victims of domestic violence, and
  2. Develop leadership skills in youth so they may educate their peers and speak out against domestic violence.

Community Education and Training
To raise awareness and prevent domestic violence, DOVE, Inc. offers trainings, workshops and seminars to law enforcement, health care professionals, schools, businesses, social service providers, religious organizations and the community. Training topics include, but are not limited to:
