LGBQ/T* Advocacy & Outreach Coordinator/Community Advocate

This position is responsible to: provide general supportive counseling and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence ; conduct LGBQ/T specific trainings and provide outreach and information about DOVE’s services as well as to raise awareness about LGBQ/T* violence issues with a particular emphasis on the unique needs and experiences of transgender and gender non-conforming survivors; serve as a liaison between DOVE and LGBQ/T community members and organizations; and provide advocacy and guidance re: strengthening of LGBQ/T-responsive services within DOVE and to community health and social service providers. This position reports to the Director of Community Services and will also work closely with the Director of Prevention & Education.

Staff Attorney Legal Advocacy Program

The Staff Attorney is responsible for providing representation, information, pro se assistance, brief advice and services, and referrals to victims of domestic violence seeking legal assistance. She/he/they is/are also responsible for assisting the LAP Manager in outreach to and relationship-building with the legal community, facilitating legal trainings, and contributing to grant writing and reporting.

Director of Administration and Operations

Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director on operational excellence, including designing implementing and maintaining effective Human Resources, IT, financial, and administrative systems. The Director of Administration and Operations is responsible for ensuring that all DOVE operational support functions are working smoothly, from managing the DOVE office including office management, finance, contracts management and contracts/grants administration, information systems, and facilities. The person in this position will be in charge of day-to-day organizational operations, to ensure deadlines and goals are on target throughout the year. The right candidate will be hardworking, very organized, detail- oriented, and have solid technology skills and excellent people skills that seamlessly translate to all of DOVE’s different stakeholders (staff, board, vendors, and collaborators). We are seeking someone who can demonstrate their capacity to think strategically, provide leadership, exercise common sense, handle competing priorities and multiple deadlines, and not be afraid to take on a broad spectrum of tasks from the mundane to the highly complex.
